Freeride yes
That's not all: the White Reserve also offers unlimited possibilities for freeride skiing, combining the thrill of fresh snow with a geographical context in which the risks associated with this practice are contained. The area is full of itineraries that alternate wide spaces, fantastic slopes, and beech groves. Thanks to the Alpetta, Pancani and Colle di Tenda lifts, those that reach the highest altitudes of the ski resort, you can reach the direct accesses of many off-piste slopes or the starting points for short hikes with seal skins.
To live an exciting and safe experience at the same time, the suggestion is to contact the UIAGM mountain guides of Limone Piemonte, the fresh snow specialists in the area. Thanks to the guides, you can take the best itineraries based on snow, weather conditions and your training: data that should never be overlooked, which a professional is able to evaluate with serenity and objectivity.
However, it is good to specify the off-piste descents are reserved for expert and prepared skiers, in possession of the right equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe), and can only be programmed with particularly favorable weather conditions.
Since these are off-piste descents, these itineraries are considered to be outside the area controlled by the operator and without signs: they are subject to avalanche risk and objective environmental dangers, dictated by the presence of rocks or other geomorphological features of the slope. It is therefore specified that the manager of the ski resort is not responsible in any way for accidents that may occur in off-piste routes, even if served by the lifts (Article 30 of Regional Law No. 2 of 2009).
